KA Price check on head gasket installation....please

How much one of these jobs normally runs???

What parts are requeried for the job??? Other than the
head gasket...

this is for SOHC.....1989

The guy that worked in my car sometime ago (replacing timing chain) broke the gasket, now I just got done replacing the chain again and the timing cover (top) leaks because is missing that section of the gasket....taken apart twice and still leaks


He made work with a lot of RTV, I havent been that lucky.......still leaks...other than that (gasket missing round piece that goes on top of timing cover) theres nothing damaged

he used rtv on the head gasket. dont be cheap. go buy a new gasket for 50 bucks.

He only use RTV on the portion of the missing head gasket,
Yeah, I also found that the cracked the timing cover, I had to get a new one to replaced it, get my timing chain done and now this......Arghhh!!!!!
