random but i just thought about it. what the hell is that brace on the trust downpipe? my pbm has one but what the hell is it supposed to bolt to?? lol free bumpppp

Thats a Blitz dp. I have one, they dont come stamped for whatever reason

vJilly.. That brace bolts up to a bracket that comes off the trans mount.. I guess its for support, I have mine bolted up but it doesnt seem to be totally necessary

That's bracket is very necessary, unless you like your turbo bolts coming loose all the time. Once bolted up its supposed to support the weight of the catback and relieve stress from the turbo/manifold. Some people have been lucky that it's never been an issue for them.

every downpipe ive ever gotten has never come with said bracket to bolt up anywhere... lol sorry for threadjacking.
