Ca18det z32 maf

I just put a z32 maf on my car and I had to add like 46%fuel just to idle, on my low throttle setting I had to add a lot of fuel, high throttle is fine, but I just don't like having to add that much fuel, it's still idles a little rough to, I've been told it's because it's such a big maf that it's hard for it to read as little air that goes through it at idle, is that true? If so what maf could I use to stay around 250hp?

What are you using to correct for the Z-Maf? I dont get why you're adding fuel when you need something that does a voltage correction for it like a SAFC.

Also, if 250hp is all you're shooting for, stock maf should still be able to handle that.

You need to change the IN and OUT numbers on the SAFC to 2-6. Then you need to stop fucking with it and find somebody to attempt to tune it before you blow the engine up fucking with it.

I did get it tuned, and if I remember correctly it's 2-7, the tuner told me he had to add a lot of fuel on the low end throttle range cause it's hard for such a big maf to read such a small amount of air flowing

Sounds like you need a better tuner. Thats what the voltage conversion (IN/OUT) is for. Better yet, maybe you should look into a rom tuned ECU and use the SAFC for fine tuning on the fuel map.
