SR S15 Spec-R Relearned idle by itself??

Ok so here's the issue I'm having... Set my idle around 1100 RPMs last week, seemed to be happy there... And last night while I cruising around I go to neutral to pull in my drive way and my car drops idle back to stock 850-900... It started it up today ans drove around and same thing...seems to be running fine with no other issues, looked for any vacuum leaks and can't find any. Any ideas?

looks like the ecu is just a lil smarter than the person whom set thine idle.

What kind of work you have done or cams installed that warranted an idle of 1100rpm. If I idled at 1100rpm every time i let out my clutch I'd do a burnout!

it has tomei cams, and all the bolt ons running 1 bar, it just seemed more stable idling that high especially with a atmospheric blow off valve, and when you run A/C it doesnt drop the idle as low. I guess the car is smarter... just weird ive never seen it do that with any of my SR motors

How did you set the idle? Did you follow the FSM procedure?

And yes, 1100 is ok with larger cams. The only way around it is to introuduce more timing at idle to make it idle nice, or raise the idle like you did.
