Ebrake Light/Clicking Fuses?
Recently the Ebrake light has been going on while i drive, and of course the ebrake is down. Also, it seems to happen during acceleration (or any gassing) , yet not under deceleration or turning( so i don't think its neccesarily a loose wire that might be connecting/disconnecting on bumps and shakes etc) . Also it seems that more recently a clicking sound (sounds like fuses on and off or relays) seem to be going off near the clutch pedal somewhere down in that area, haven't been able to figure out where exactly. I pulled all fuses and replaced them, none were cracked. I went into the engine bay and replace one burt out fuse and it still has the problem.
Heres my logic thinking...wonder if anyone has any other thoughts before i work on it tommorow. 1. turbo timer? 2. alarm 3. retard ebay overlay guages which have been acting up but why does it happen all a sudden! |

checked the brake fluid was the first thing i did, brake pads are still good, i put the Z brakes on no longer than november. Axiss metal masters, no way it could be worn down that low so fast, i hardly do track time, been thru only one track event. I do drive fast but i don't jam the brakes, im pretty conservative about stopping.

check your brake pads, you said you assumed they are good because they are new, but you know, all sorts of things go wrong with the ebrake crap. They can stick and ruin your pads in a few weeks, especially if you have been yanking the e brake... don't worry we are all guilty of that.
anyway check your brake pads, mine was doing the same and the pass. rear pad had been sticking and was worn into the rotor, makes it more expensive... if you think its your alt autozone/advance whatever will check your battery and alternator for free, but if you can run your blower motor and your headlights at night without them dimming its prolly not your alt. |

Im having a similar problem you had.
My Ebrake light goes on when i press the gas and only when i press the gas, the more i gas it, the more this faded battery light comes on.. when ever i press the gas i hear a clicking noise... did you ever figure out what the problem was? Its not my brakes or fluid.

Had battery checked off and running.
Both look fine, 11.8 when off. 14.3 when running still getting Ebrake light and fadded battery light when gas pedal is compressed.
