KA can u plug in an obd1 into an obd2 car????

i was just wondering if u could switch your obd2 ecu on your s14(ka) for an ond1. i used to do it alot with hondas to bypass the emissions codes, using a harness adapter that is. i know the two nissan ecus are the same plugs except for two contacts that are switched, which i can splice and switch manually. im just trying to see if anybody has tried it.

Yes it works, but it won't pass nj obdii inspection... I have a 95 ecu in my 96 240sx.
