s13 tech Q between s13 and s14

pretty new to the NIssan family so any help is appreciated!!!
i have a s14 motor..needed a head bought one for it but I didnt know there was two different heads for the ka24de motor...so my question is will the head and valve cover from my new s13 head bolt on successfully on my s14 block, with the fuel rail injectors breather and grounds? basically will it swap over without buying or customizing anything?? thanks!

Are you sure that the new one is from a s13 ka? It can be done but it runs different timing covers. And the distributors are different. Im sure a search might help you out some. Google maybe. Im too tired and busy to go looking for it right now.

ok so upper timing chain cover, and we should be good that would make sense can you start the motor without it? i need to put the valve cover on and see if the engine starts and see how it runs before buying the car from a friend. so less things i have to do/buy the better
