SOOO I SEARCHED! SR20det PROB/QUESTION

so i just bought a hatch with an sr the power steering pump was making a wierd as noise(going to shit? annoying!)
so i took off the pulley and belt is there any bad that can come from this?
also when i took off
the idle went up and my allternator belt started squealing

There is no bad that can come from removing the power steering pump and belt, except that you won't have power steering. You can change the tension on your alternator belt to make it not squeel, or just put a bit of candlewax on it usually does the trick for a little while.

no, the system still has fluid in it, the only reason you would have an issue is if you removed the power steering lines and let air get into the rack. in which case you would need to bleed and cap the rack so that there is no air in it.
