Yes definitely. Anything is better than the OEM open type differential. This 1.5way clutch type is fully locked when the clutch plates engages, which makes it more suitable for drifting applications since it is very predictable; having 50:50 power distribution between the left and right tyres. It is also good for road race applications, but a torque biasing type differential such as the Quaife, Balltec, or OEM S15 is more suited for circuit, time-attack type of application, which biases torque towards the tyre with more grip. The amount of torque bias depends on the differential, which I don't even know.

The reason I'm selling this one is because I made a bad decision and did not do enough research. I do not intend on drifting my car. I installed this but never used it and now have a S15 helical type differential ready to go in since I plan on road racing and using my car as a street car. I do not want the clunking noises typically associated with clutch type differentials.
