question about pos battery relocation fix

I have relocated my battery to the trunk and have everything run up to the engine compartment. I was wondering what people did with the positive wire going to starter ect... Just connect them and tape the hell out of it came to mind but i want it done right and neat.

I ran mine to the starter, then up to a junction block that I mounted on the fender well. Spliced the two white/red stripe wires together and put a connector on it. Connected it to the junction block.
