brake master cylinder upgrade
im upgrading to Q45 brakes in the front so i know i need to upgrade my MC. i have a manual s13 and i heard the auto s13 has a better MC? and do i need the booster? thankyou

you don't necessarily hafta upgrade the MC. that's one of the advantages of using the Q brakes. They don't displace as much fluid as the Z brakes....so the bias isn't changed as much. I would install the brakes first, and see how they feel. If the pedal is too soft, you can adjust the screw on the booster (turn it out a few turns) until you get the pedal feel you want.
If you feel the braking bias is screwed up, then you would need to replace the MC with a 15/16"....which i believe the Auto came with |

K.. i have a buddy that can get me a M.C. from autozone for FREE!
anyone know what year z32 came with what M.C. and what booster? I am getting this for free. (one time only...) Anyone running a autozone,checker,kragen,napa mc or booster in their s13 or s14? how is their quality compared to a OEM? Should hold up about the same right? |

cool, But does anybody know which year z32 came with what bore size? cause i need to tell him yr, make, model, turbo-nonturbo, auto-stick. And i get stuff for free.
