Fuel TAnk Removal

alright.. i have seemed to get my self stuck......

At first i thought i could just simpley removal the fuel tank
after removing the diff. and drive shaft....

Do i need to drop the whole rear subframe?

its an s14 btw.

S14...have no idea.

Z...have even less of an idea.

On the s13, don't forget the small bolt holding the filler neck near the fuel door.

Guess ill be droppin the subframe....

yo just removed mine last week, you have to drop the subrame. Its alot easier if the fuel tank is empty. Once subframe is removed, there are 2 straps holding it in, remove fuel lines on passenger side. Removal of fuel filler hose is done through fuel pump access hole, or underneath depending on location of clamp. Have fun

Remove the access panel under the package tray(the hump behind the seat in the trunk).
Remove the Electrical Connectors.
Take wheels off.
Take brake calipers off and zip tie to springs. Rotors will be loose so take them off too.
Unbolt Damper from Knuckle.
Unbolt driveshaft.
Remove exhaust center section.
Put floor jack on bottom of Differential.
Unbolt Front Triangle braces and Front mounts.
Unbolt rear mounts.
Lower Subframe.
Remove Filler tube.
Remove Supply, Return and Evap lines at the body connectors(around the axel). Mark the lines so you know which goes were.
Remove Tank Brush Plate.
Support Tank.
Remove Straps.
