complete redtop swap

i want a complete sr20 redtop. i'm in saint louis, missouri. i'll drive as far as KC, Chicago, Memphis to pick it up. let me know what you've got!

ok. good to see your gettin an SR20 when you go and check out the motor.

make sure you have the following items. Battery jumper box so you can ground the starter and do a cold compression test/Starting fliud/and if the motor has all of the belts attached you could hook up a radiaor and fill up coolant. Check the turbo for shaft play and if it spins freely.

if the motor has most of the parts you will be able to do a full compression test and bench test

good cold comression test w/o the oil system primed is about 150psi. with the oil system primed figure about 160-170psi

S14's and S15's DETs have a bit lower compression

also pull off the valve cover and oil pan. does make sence if you're going to drive some distance to get the motor. good luck with finding the right motor.
