KA Re-build before going turbo?

I have s13 with 189k miles on it and i want to turbocharge it. Before going turbo do i need to rebuild it? I have already replaced all gaskets/seals on the motor it pulls very strong, burns NO oil/coolant. Input please.

How is the compression? Leakdown?
If all that is good go for it. KA should be good for ~300-350hp on stock internals. Shit break, oh well. THEN do the rebuild with stronger internals. Been covered before.
