I was wondering what the three hoses on the intake pipe was. Could some one explain what each of these hoses do? What is it connected to? Does it suck in or blow out air? etc.
Also is it ok if I don't connect them to the pipe? Because my friend that drives a Civic has an AEM intake and he has one one of the hoses off. Thanks |

When i recieved my Injen CAI I could only connect two hoses of the three. The one that did not get conncted was the Valve cover breather and it just takes in air to cool it down I believe.
Im not sure abuot the other two hoses so i cant help you out there. |

I got all three of my hoses hooked up on my injen. One from the valve cover, one from underneath the throttle body, and a 7 mm that hooked up underneath the intake. The "t" they supply is what you need to use. Everything should hook up nicely. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/eh.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':eh:'>

Hey well my kit had everything BUT the "T" connector so I had to go with what i had and i defiently did not feel like a 89cent piece of crap was woth my time to talk to Injen or Enjuku about it since I spoke to others who said it was not needed. But it wouold be nice to have the "T" so my engine looks complete.
