Sorry for the lack of updates,

Here are a few old pics, while I work out more of the build.

These are pictures from Balcony Willow Springs CA in 2010

Hey everyone,

I want to finally start my post for the build thread. And tell stories of my ownership.

I am getting close to "completion" (is there such a thing?), so I want to start digging up the past and documenting my journey.

Originally an all stock Automatic 1998 KH3 SE

I became the vehicle's third owner in 2008, and have been through a lot with my S14.

For a while, I enjoyed the car as a daily driver with about 100,000 on the odometer. (Mostly stock. Later on, I do a manual transmission conversion for the KA24)

I put on another 100,000 more.

The goal for this car is to find the ultimate blend of street and track.

Currently the car is equiped with an S14 SR20DET with full suspension, Z32 Brakes, and a Kaaz Super Q 2-Way.
*and just got painted!*

Behind the Build Philosophies

I’ve grown up a lot since I've started my love for cars and car culture, and my tastes are ever evolving. I've got love for all cars; From the vintage and obscure ugly cars to flashy Low-Riders and neon Lamborghinis, from the highest ends of muscle to the lowest mini trucks, as long as the car is done right. If it's supposed to be wrong I don't wanna be right.

When I was younger, I had always thought of having a glittery Super Street / Import Tuner "Track-Star", with top shelf everything, but now I have slowly awaken from that dream, and decided to come back to reality.

Anyway, fast forward: I graduated from nursing school, typically, take good care of my self and family and finally have a lot of 240 money.

I learned that you can’t build a car all by yourself, it takes a team of people and strangers, and support from your peers and loved ones. Trust and knowledge, things they dont teach you in text books.

Improvising tools, finding new ways, doing things different, or following the FSM rules.

Making mistakes, and getting it right.

It takes reading and writing skills it takes math and research, science and history. This is my idea. sorry sometimes i'm write this shit blitzed

I feel like after so many hours and days underneath every bolt of this car, I have a much better understanding of the phrase "Tight is tight," and where that can be applied, or not applied lol,

I also developed a joy for collecting tools, it has greatly improved my garage, and abilities. Jobs get easier, and tools keep growing. I usually go to Harbor Freight to get the job done, and splurge on Amazon for more name brand stuff.

I also learned the pursuit of perfection is futile, and endless, it will only hinder you and slow you down. You'll get hung up on details, and get discouraged. I have learned to let go of that pursuit, in favor of, "if it works it works."

This build is a culmination of everything I've learned and a testament of what can happen to anyone.

Again, as my tastes change I’ve decided to keep this car mostly full weight (glass, radio, AC etc.), complimented by light weight parts to offset daily driver comforts.

The car is a reflection of yourself and your philosophies, your principles, and what governs you. Cars are more than just cars,

What goes in a car is what goes in your everyday life, it goes in every decision you make, it speaks volumes of your character
The choices you make for your car are the choice you make in life.

Thanks for letting me spew blah blah blah. (will continue updating with stories)

More to come.
