Header collector stand, not perfect, but works very well and I made it in a couple hours with a plasma cutter, mig, and a bridgeport mill.

Made the collector stand to make these, working on equal length long tubes for a LS in a 240, passenger side tacked up and ready for tig. I was able to get the front 3 tubes within 1/2" in and the last one is 2" shorter.

Also made my own mounts for the engine, its sitting on Nismo mounts right now, I wanted to see if I could, but I'm feeling a little nervous about what's going to happen with the extra torque. (don't worry, the mounts will be fully welded and gusseted before I start the engine, everything is just tacked for right now)

It is too old when it stops welding or when the transformer us not producing the correct amperage.

Sometimes the high frequency will stop working on older machines if equipped.

Here are 5 bolt in cages we just made for another shop.

can someone help me understand the process of spot welding with a mig?

i personally don't see how that will work, unless by spot my boss means tack weld, but he keeps insisting that if you cut the tip in a certain way or some shit that it will spot weld. WTF is he talking about?

I'm finalizing radiator support replacement and don't want to weld it in normally since that's a pretty common spot to get pushed in. my boss seems a little stupid atm

Wouldnt a plug weld be less reliable than a true spot weld? Id rather not rent a spot welder but if I must then w.e

What's it for exactly? A spot Welder would be quick and easy, but you can drill a small hole and plug weld it. the spot weld will just be smaller

I use 1/16th Lanthanated and Ceriated.

I mostly use either a #8 normal gas lens or a #12 large gas lens. On aluminium I use a #6 non-gas lens cup...

But I carry #4-#10 regular cups, #10 & #12 large gas lens, and #6; #8; and #10 regular gas lenses.

I never use Thoriated tungsten.

I am shocked that nobody has made a custom fuel pump hanger for the 240's. i have seen them for the supras and they look dam good.

maybe i am not looking hard enough, does any one know have they been made for the s13 and s14 chassis?

Custom fuel pump arm for what? I don't see a point that's probably why you haven't seen any.

Probably talking about a twin or triple pump to run multiples inside the tank.
