okay everyone knows there are tons of Kouki copy 180SX tails out there..the Altezza style are ricey and just plain ugly..like these:

those ones are all new, they also have a set that is all black with red led's..prices vary..it's hard to find kouki's..real hard...best bet is the copies...you can get a set of the copies with center piece for 350 bucks...only time I saw used Kouki's they were about 300 bucks...

for 180sx lights just hit up clearcorners.com for the red white conversion. As for altezza sh*t. Everyone may say it looks fine. when they want to take a bat to that sh*t. Just get Kouki tails or ask if mike from clearcorners can smoke your lenses.

Are you asking for permission to buy these? Desperate plea for acceptance? Who cares what zilvia members think. If you like them, then get them. But if what you really want is 180sx tails, then I would just wait and get those instead of wasting your money on something you plan on replacing soon.

I like the oem lights myself too, koukis are hot especially with the center garnish painted the same color as the car. I don't know about those altezzas, I think that if you painted the housings black and painted the center garnish the same color as the car it may turn out okay, but they are still altezzas...

The black-backed Altezza-style 180SX Kouki headlights (damn, that was long) are HOT.

Just paint the center piece, for the love of God.

Or get the carbon fibre "RPS13" center panel. :P

and for $100 more you could get the factory Kouki tails new. I know what they go for in Japan as well as here. In fact the wholesale prices are the same. If I can sell them here in group buys for $450 shipped I know you can get them new in Japan for somewhere around the same price.
I would pay the extra $100 for the real deal. If you are that cheap then wait for a used set.

Stop keeping the altezza crap alive.. aren't you tired of that yet? Now we're seeing that garbage on Rx8s, miata's and Evos coming from the factory. Soon we'll be buying "normal" lights to get rid of our altezza-shit that comes from the OEMs.

indeed.. kouki's are definitely an investment. I don't see why it's so rare / expensive.. and then tail lights for every other car is mad cheap and abundant.
