I want to change my autocross/lapping setup and want to know what will it take to fit. Spacers? Fender push? Just a roll?
Here's the setup: Stock body S13 hatch Apexi coilovers with moderate 1.2" drop. Front: S14 LCA and 5lug knuckles with 300zx brakes Rear: S14 subframe with aftermarket arms and 5 lugs Wheel/Tires: 17x9 +35 Koya CR-TEK with 255/40r17 RE71R I'm not 100% on the offset but I think it's +35. |

Hello, i have a set of ccw classics
17x10 -36 front 17x11 -36 rear on coilovers lowered about 1" caster alignment is around stock, no spacers, fenders will be widened. With 245/45 r17 im having an issue where the tire rubs against the frame below the harness gromet. Weve already hammered the seams behind the wheel and it still gets hung on the frame. About what tire size and caster angle can i get away with to have minimal rubbing in the front? I prefer a meaty tire with very little to no stretch. thanks. 1991 240SX SE Wheel Fitment
New to the forum, but have plenty of questions as this is my first time owning a Nissan. I'm wanting to convert my S13 hatch to a Type X body; however, I'm curious as to whether or not a 18x9 40 inset 5x100 bolt pattern Enkei PF05 with 235/40/18 tires on the front and 265/40/18 tires on the rear would be clear. The plan is to put it on coil overs and get functional, yet tight fitment. Any help would be great.

2) The tire sizes and offsets you are listing are not conducive to "fitment". a +40 offset upfront will require spacers. i run a 17x9.5 +38 in the rear just fine on a 245 with rolled fenders (no pull). a 265 WILL require camber to fit as it will be squared up on the wheel (meaning no stretch) 3) functional fitment is a bit difficult to pull off. i would suggest running 17x8.5 +35 in front and 17x9.5 +38 in the rear. if you want hotboi, 17x9.5 +12 to +15 all around with some rubber band stretched tires (like 215 or 225) 4) if you want S13 kouki aero, i make everything but the front bumper. |

if you're really trying to have the car be functional and not just look the part, i'd suggest running 17x9.5 +12's all around with some sticky 235 or 245/40's. keep it simple.

S13 Front. What size spacer is required to clear Z32 brakes, specifically, with VSKF A Disk. I want to go ahead and get the spacers to dial fitment in before I upgrade to Z32.

Wheel fitment noob here. I am looking at a set of 17x8.5 +12 F 17x9.5 +13 R for my s13 hatch. +20mm F fenders. Stock r fenders. Ideally i want to run a 275 or 265 tire in the rear. Lowered on coils but not sure how much. Would a 275/35 fit? Id run whatever tire would fit w/o mods in F. What mods would i need to do to fit?

17x9.5 +13 will not fit in the rear without over 3* camber and a stretched tire. Assuming your fenders are not rolled and pulled.
I'd strongly suggest going through the maximum tire thread to give yourself a better idea. https://zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=166563 Posts may be old, but several still have photos for you to reference. |

Basically i want to get a wider tire in the rear without adding over fenders and crazy camber. Pull and roll im willing to do What would you recommend? Is it the wheel specs that are preventing a 275 or is a 275 just too wide for stock body? Would that wheel work with a 255 |

This was back in 2009. 17x10 +18 with a 235/40. I believe this was 3* camber when I got it aligned.
Comparing my 17x10 +18 to your 17x9.5 +13 rear, your wheel specs would only retract the wheel by 1mm. As you can see, the wheel position is already pretty much at the max for factory body. If you run 17x9.5 +13, you may get away with a 245/40 or something along those lines, but not without a roll/pull or excessive camber. Considering the amount of tire you're looking to run, I would think the less camber you run, the better. My recommendation would be to run a higher offset wheel (let's say 17x9.5 +30~). You should be able to run a meatier tire with only minor massage work on the fenders. |

Hey, looking for a little help on figuring out my fitment.
Stock Body S13 Hatch Fortune Auto 500 7k/6k 235/40/R17 17x9+15 all around Toyo R1R Looking for fitment like CrimsonRockett's (any rubbing issues on that car when you had it?). Wouldn't mind going higher. Don't quite know if it'll fit yet because I don't have the tires in atm, and I've seen a lot of conflicting posts on +15 on a 9J, so I don't know if it'll have terrible poke or not. thanks |

If you run 235/40 all around, I'd strongly recommend rolling/massaging the fenders a bit. It'll help to avoid running so much unnecessary camber. Also depends on your ride height. I had very minor rubbing issues back then. I'll try to dig up pictures of a set up I had at one point that was 17x9 +15 all around. |

This is 17x9 +22 on 235/40 all around. Just rolled my fenders a bit & tucked my harness. I have no arms for added adjustment or anything. Everythings all stock except my lowered bc coilovers. If i had arms i could probably get lower by adding camber, but im content with this. Just wanted to add some visual aid for a similar spec you wanna run. Hey guys,
So I got stock granny spec S13 coupe and wanna get some wheels with the perfect hellflush fitment. The wheels I'm going to get are white Fifteen 52 Tarcmacs 17x9 ET45 5x100. I'm just curious what the perfect wheel and tyre specs to fit stock s13 guards without having to pull or flare the fenders. So my question to you guys, from what I've seen, 17x9 +15 offset sits pefectly flush with the stock fenders and fits, is this true? if not what size will? The only problems are that my Silvia is 4×114.3, and that I'll need to remove 30 offset. If I use a 114.3x4 to 5x100 30mm spacer adapter, this should then make the wheels' effective offset 17x9+15 (45-30=15). Is it okay to use the spacer adapter too? Any help greatly appreciated, Thanks Pic of my car for refernce https://ibb.co/zssVwJV |

1, you will HAVE TO roll your fenders. if you dont know how to do this, find a body shop that does and tell them to heat the shit out of the rear metal prior to rolling otherwise youll wind up with pressure dents in the quarter panels above BOTH rear fenders. major S-Chassis issue when rolling fenders 2, 17x9 +35 is perfect fender fitment with factory camber. 17x9 +15 is perfect fitment for the hot boi/fitment crowd. you will have to run a good amount of negative camber front + rear as well as run stretched tires. if the stretched tired and tons of camber approach is what youre looking for, then by all means. but if you want contact patch + meatier tires to actually make the car handle well and keep the power going to the ground, consider going with a higher offset. my car on 17x8.5 +30 on 225s and 17x9.5 +38 on 245s with rolled fenders and factory camber (though i am on coilovers and adjustable arms, camber is set to -1 deg front and rear)... Yeah new to the game, so thought I'd see what some vets thought and took in some advice ahahaha So just bought a 5 stud conversion for s13 to s14 oem ones. So if I purchased these wheles in 17x9 +30 and ran 225/40, they should fit easy? Is it worth ordering the wheels now or after I do the conversion? Will Probably also get spacers after tyres |
