Battery issue

Decided to swap my redtop optima battery from my ep3 an put it in the s14 but as soon as I tried to start the car it lost all electical power and does not even try to turn over. Put the old batter back on and same thing happen. After about 20 mins the got power back an took about 30 seconds to finally turn over. So what gives? maybe replace terminals? or the replace connectors? i dont see how it could be a ground wire if one batt works an the other better batt doesnt?

Optima makes a nice unit, but I'd never spend the cash on one. Any good battery will work for you without issue.

Sort your connections out!
