*UPDATE* I did go to dmv to register it because I had the title, I went there, paid all the fees but then they told me to finish registering I needed a smog and to test the lights because it is salvage due to a hit in the front right fender that was fixed. In the process of getting it smogged, I lost the tittle. So the car is still owned by the original owner, which i lost all contacts to, but the dumb thing is, all the fees were paid by me.. So the parking ticket went to my address * which I did pay for* which it dumb. I tried to go dmv to get a new title but they won't let me...
With the lights, Tail lights stay on like I say, but the brake lights don't turn on when you press the brake, i think its the rear right turn signal that doesnt work.

My 240sx is up for sale, nothing special, but nothing super wrong with it, except I lost all papers for it... Great if your looking for a track car, or looking for parts Price is negotiable.

Changed all fluids
18X,XXX Miles
Never overheats
Runs well, drove from SD to Santa Barbara and back with no problems at all.
Put an injen short ram intake and Greddy TI-C exhaust
No real dents
All interior Intact
Manual
aftermarket stereo
s14 seats
still have sun roof cover

The bad
Rear lights don't turn off, so I disconnect battery everytime after use. Easy fix if I had the patience to follow the wires
Does not pass smog, but thats why I suggest track ONLY
crack dash
Paint sucks,but it is all one color, Matte black, with no rust
did i mention no paperwork

why dont you just go to the dmv, pay $100 and get the title, then you can sell it for more, just sayin but glws

X2. The brake light problem is most likely just the grommet behind the pedal that hits a switch out

Sorry, i'm not trying to be a dick or anything because im genuinely interested.

However, what's to say that the owner thats on the title won't report the car stolen and i get knicked for it? And how is it that we're sure that you actually own the car? What would be the process i would have to go through to get this as a running street car (of course i realize smog and all other usual things i would have to go through, just papers and legally wise.)

Bill Of Sale my friend, the car could still get repoed but you'd be reimbursed, and he'd go to jail. Plus you could potentially sue the crap outta him for selling you stolen crap...
