Heat gun + 3M double sided auto body tape + stock clips = oem fitment.

Last Saturday, I was shocked to see one of my local shops has this in stock. I would have totally bought it if I had a hatchback. He wants $1000 plus shipping from Dallas, TX. I've sold 3-4 180sx OEM kouki lips for $600-$800 shipped from Japan, so this is a killer deal. PM me if you are serious. I'll give his phone number for the first two guys who PM me. Oh! He said he will sell only the 180sx front end conversion parts. He said he needs headlights, core support...etc. Only bad things that I noticed were missing side marker on passenger side and small paint chip on the bumper near license plate area. There could be more, so don't take my word. Anyway, too bad I don't own a hatchback. :-(

P.S.: This is not an ad. I'm not selling this!! I saw a good deal, so I'd like to help Zilvia members to get their 180sx conversion done.

Would kill myself if I had to undo all the OEM stuff every time I wanted to jack the car up.
I already find the inconvenience of having to clip four zipties quite bothersome.

Typical "240sx Custom install" = zipties.
Stock Clips are almost Too Sturdy as Thats why Half the Kouki Skirts you find are All broken how they mount on the sides. The Rivet Trees allow you to prob just use a trim tool and Push them out of the Holes you made for them from underneath.
Oh well.
I've never had to remove My Skirts on either 1 of my Kouki'd cars.... but I did get the Bumper to where its 4 bolts and off it comes to jack my car up in about 1 min.
Sides have Never been an issue with clearance.

Not if yours came with the little clamps (mine had 1),..but mounting it my way you won't even need to do that.

OEM mounting is the greatest. My skirts are so solid it's not even funny. Same with my valences.

I don't have anything holding the two peices of the skirts together, aside from the tabs that slide together. I just used 3M tape, christmas tree clips like MrFairlady posted on the front fender holes, and self tapping screws on the underside of the car. No issues so far...

MrFairlady and Treefish- LOVE both of your cars right now. They are looking really good!

Another way to mount the skirts w/o drilling holes would be to urethane or glue plastic gromets on the underside of the rocker panels.Let cure then carefully thread in short screws.
on the top side use a good double side tape and clean all lose debris.Use adhension promoter on both panel let dry and apply the double sided tape.Guaranteed to hold excellent if preped properly.
