Getting slammed
I have just about every "bolt on" suspension piece available. But i want to be extremely low whole still maintaining some form of function. That being said what are some things that i can do that will help me in my pursuit of lowness.
Ive seen things like floorpans being channeled and lifted things like that. i dont know much about the realm of these mods so any suggestions, ideas expierences would be kool. Also i have the spl bushing kit any suggestions on what shim setup i should use? Thanks (^o^)/ |

just set everything full low. you won't have to do any floorpan bullshit, the ground will grind it out from underneath you. same with your oilpan and bellhousing

You keep saying floor pan like its not a unibody car. You cant just body drop these things.. but find interior pics of the review 180sx. Go google it. Get off the tit and look for your own information

Now don't get offended as I don't know you, but do you have the talent or the bank account to take on something like that speedhunters car? Because if you don't please don't start a build, hack a chassis to oblivion, and then part it out to build a Subaru.

I think the reason he channeled/body dropped cuz he is not running a drop knuckle and was trying to improve suspension geometry without raising the car. Drop knuckles cost around 1000 bucks if you have the know-how and a welder you could channel/body drop the car for basically nothing just your time a lot of time. But what do I know

Coilovers, your choice, doesn't matter. Remove all the collars except the spring support and droop spring in the rear if need be. Arms that clear the other arms at shitty angles. Drop knuckles. Shits fucking easy. There. Tiny tiny spoonful for you. Now get out.

Yeah, that ^ shit... I don't know what bolt ons OP has or doesn't have.
But coils, and arms should be able to get the car low low if you're not retarded. But this is the internet so I'm putting that as 80-20 against. Drop knuckles will fix most of the geometry, but there may also be some steering stuff to deal with. Try flipping the tie rods if you're a broke ass peasant. El-Cheapo roll center correction would be riser rear subframe bushings + an air hammer on the frame for RUCA clearnace, and a GKtech roll center correction kit on the front.
