s14 s14 Headlight Problems

So I recently replaced the combination switch on my car and now I'm having weird issues. When I turn the switch forward one click, the parking lights and sidemarkers turn on just like normal. The problem is that when I flip the switch again to turn the headlights on, my cluster tells me that my brights are on. They shouldnt be on though because you are supposed push the whole combination switch forward to keep the hi-beams on, or flick it towards you to give it a quick high beam correct? Also, when my low beams are supposed to be on, and I turn the fog switch on, the fogs don't. But I guess thats because my hi-beams are "on". Any help will be appreciated! Please help a guy out.

Had the same problem. Its the Switch. I thought there was a wiring issue, and I went through it all and checked, when i swapped out the switch, problem went away and headlights worked like normal.
