So I got my rear wheel setup done. The quarter panel popped in so I stopped and it seems pretty flush. My Voodoo13 rear uppers are almost all the way in to get it to look like this. It'll probably settle a bit lower once the car is drive around too, damn JIC's are seized so I am super limited on height adjustment.

Little re-cap of the specs, 17x9 +15 with a 255/40r17

17x9 255/40
17x10 275/35
Please excuse the mismatched colors I'm in the middle of bodywork and paint prep.

17x9 +25 w/ 255/40's and a 5mm spacer up front. I am too close to the coil up front and may have to go to an effective offset of +15 in the front.

Fwiw guys, there's some polish vendor on eBay selling rocket bunny kits for cheap:

I bought a set just to see if I could use it on top of my overfenders.

It had to be knockoff at this price - but the quality is pretty damn good, judging from the limited test fit that I did...

I've been wanting to buy from that dude, but I'm hesitant because if the quality absolutely blows, getting a return/money back is slim to none.

He offers the S14 front fenders in +50mm though which I like a lot.

Ka-titties, I'm very pleased with the quality of the product.

I did a test fit on top of my 50mm overs and 25mm front fenders:

Is anybody running +50mm front fenders?

I want wider front fenders to fit my flares to.

What would be your guy's opinion on the best tire size for 17x10 fronts and 17x11 wheels? Disregard fender fitment as I've got overfenders. I just want to go to a meaty tire look instead of stretched tires on my drift car. Currently has 225/45 on the 17x10 fronts and 245/40 on the 17x11 rears so it's a bit of stretch.

This is a 350-400hp drift car so, is it possible my tires might end up TOO wide to break it loose if I don't stretch them?

Maybe get all seasons in the wider size for the look, to compensate for the grip/width difference? Idk just brainstorming.

True, in all honesty since I have to run about -1.5 degrees negative camber, the difference in width might not have any noticeable affect on the grip of the car

it will... youll have more meat planted on the ground! stretched tires + camber = very little contact patch.

the more contact patch you have, the more power will actually stick the ground!

PS: -1 deg of camber is stock for both front and rear i believe.

Nice I figured they were at 0. I tried running 0 camber but at my ride height the axles weren't having it. Maybe when I do z33 axles lol.

^^^ I have 255s on a 10, and it's a bit stretched. I think 265s would be ideal in MY case (square side wall) since 275s go over the rim. Then again, it all depends on the tire manufacture.

I have Koguchi front 50mm fenders and I run 18x10 +12 with 4 degrees of camber and Yokohama AD08R in 265/35/18. Could have less camber but I'd have to chop my Type X front bumper side extensions and maybe a little bit of my OEM Type X lip.

4 degrees it is, a better option may be to go down in tire size 255/35/18 and then I can have less camber and better turning radius.

Thanks HIV.

Do you have a thread or pics?

I'm trying to run 315's or 335's up front.

whats going on guys, I have a '95 i just finished 5spd swapping, currently sitting on tein springs, but i have megan track coilovers, and a lug swap along with full ISR suspension to install, I just picked up 350z anniversary wheels, and I am wondering whats a pretty square setup that won't throw my speedo off to badly, not looking to stretch tires either, I have searched through the thread, and the range for tire sizes is all over the place, and since brands aren't listed with sizes for the most part, and not all tire brands have the same fitment, just looking to see what people have used

I don't believe there is a rep koguchi hood.

So what's the optimum tire width for nearly square sidewall on 17x10 and 17x11 wheels?
10" is 250mm, but I believe a 255 is still stretched on a 10" wheel?
