So are they better than an sr rad?

I'm sure the clutch fan shroud and stuff won't bolt on anymore.

Here is the radiator I plan on using, tucked under the radiator core:
Griffin Thermal Products 2-25185-H - Griffin Aluminum Drag Race Radiators - Overview - SummitRacing.com
Griffin Thermal Products 2-55185-H - Griffin Aluminum Drag Race Radiators - Overview - SummitRacing.com

I will probably go with the 2.5" thick one.

I guess the only thing that I'm confused about is what is the main advantage over the typical koyo for these cars? Any worthwhile aluminum radiator is going to cost the same if not more than the Koyo that is designed for the car.

Not trying to be a hater, as I love seeing guys try other stuff...but unless you're finding one for free or at a part swap, I don't see any real advantage over the ones already pre made for our cars.

And FWIW: I track my car more than 97% of this forum, and I've never had an overheating issue with my koyo/altima fans combination in the 7 years of having it on the car.
