1990 240SX KA24DET Hatch Rust-Free! $4500 obo NoVA/DC/MD
***SOLD***
I’m trying to gauge interest on my 1990 KA24DET hatchback. I don’t absolutely need to sell it, but I just moved to the DC area and really have no need for a car at the moment, and some extra cash would be nice. I bought the car in Kentucky a little over a year ago with only 93k miles on it (chassis currently has only a little over 100k miles on it). There was absolutely no rust on the car aside from the typical battery tray stuff. Since I didn’t drive it this winter, it is still rust-free. I swapped in a DOHC engine and a manual transmission a few months after I bought it, along with the suspension from my other shell. The engine/transmission had around 109k on them at the time of the swap and there’s only 117k on the engine/tranny now (I didn’t drive the car very much). This spring/summer I installed a turbo setup (see parts list below) and replaced the stock rubber bushings that were left with energy polyurethane ones. The car put down 306hp at 14psi on a conservative dyno in August. This car has not been beat on, I only did a couple auto-x events along with the dyno tune. Otherwise, I just used it to get to work and back. It got 34mpg on the trip down to VA from NY. It has been super reliable, I’ve been driving it for three months as my DD with no problems. Car currently has R32 skyline gts-t wheels with snow tires on them (weak, I know). I’d rather have someone take it that can actually enjoy it instead of having it sit in a parking lot all the time. I’ll even throw in my old laptop to tune it with. Car is registered in NY with a clean title. Asking price is $4500, open to offers (no trades please). Located in Arlington, VA. Post here, PM, or email [email protected] with inquiries.
