Hey 2poc, I saw that s13 at hamburger stand last Sunday too. I hung out around it hoping the owner would come by and chat, but he just did his own thing and went over to HS. BTW, I've seen your accord at an auto-x this spring, I like it too, it was damn loud though from what I remember!

Hey mark, I had a friend with a 5 ton press and I still couldn't press my bushings since I didn't have a good collar, or something to keep the bushing straight as it pressed in. I took it to a parts store with a machine shop in the end for like $30 to do my tie rod and LCA.

In any case, I plan to go to the meet and will probbaly be stopping in highlands ranch that morning for an emmissons test. PM me if you want to caravan down to CS.

Do you know what shop you went to? I know Bear Frame and Axle can do it, but they will want like $150 for it.

I donno if anyone will have a Caravan, I think all the DTown people are meeting at Krispy Kreme, no big deal if you dont. If your headed back from the emissions place in HR turn right out of the Emissions place onto Colorado (north), take your first right on County Line (East) then go about 3-4 miles, past Quebec and you will see a Krispy Kreme sign on the right. Take your first right after Quebec and you should be able to find us. Its on your way to I-25 anyways, so if you can meet up there around 9:45-10:15 and see if someone brought a caravan. See yaz tomorrow!

I went to a weaver auto parts store in Madison WI. There's an independent parts store up here in Boulder I went to yesterday and will be going to again this afternoon (to grab two quarts of oil) that has a machine shop. I'll ask what they would charge to press the bushings and machinework you listed above.

By caravan, I meant drive as a group of cars, not the Dodge. I'll try to meet up with all you guys at KK. What's the departure time in case the inspection goes longer than planned?

10:15ish Is what Blake said.. it takes 45 min to get to where were going, so 11 would be perfect... I dont have a cell phone so I cant say call me, Blake listed his # IIRC.

go to car quest off of evans and i-25, they pressed some bearings for me for $40 for two sides, it may be cheaper to do bushings, and here is another alternative, my friend did his using a torch and c-clamp, hope it works out for ya man

You missed out on the "dirt road rally stage" though.. Now, THAT was fun. "I wonder if it gets less bumpy if we go faster?" HAHA Too bad Jeff didn't videotape the really fun parts.

I've been following this thread for a while...Looks like you all had a blast!

Picture time?? Here is good for me or new linky..I wanna see!

720 Datsun, I use to have a 720 and with a few sand bags in the back..it can do really well on the track. I take it you have the venerable z24 8 plug motor? The live axel can work for you and the front susp. geometry needs reworking but they can do well. I beat the crap out of 350 monte carlos on a circle oval dirt. I even beat alot of them with a B2000 Mazda.

I saw a plethera of info on your engine on the web. A 4 barrel carb works good!

California emissions are so strict that only a handful of legal production cars that are non Californian will pass. I don't know but is it that in the military...you can keep your plates from your home state and not bother with a re-register and get past the hose check?

Back in the days...When my Brother joined the army all the way through 25 years of it..no matter where they put him..he retained his legal residence in Florida , liscense, plates and all.

??

I hate my life right now. I was SO stoked to go but that damn Parts Components Int'l is still screwing me over. They told me that my money will be in my account tomarrow but I find that statement as . SO I'm going to press charges if my money isn't back in my bank by tomarrow. I still don't have ins. and plates yet and my radiator has a HUGE crack in the top endtank. I tried to fix it with a blow torch and melted zip ties. It works for about 50 miles but then the thermal stress causes it to crack. Close, but no cigar. So if anyone, ANYONE has a stock radiator laying around, let me know please. MY BABY NEEDS TO BE COOL!!! I will pay cash for it too.
