Need help with 300zx build

Hey guys, im new to the community and im also new to cars, Z's especially. I rode in my friends 300zx and he said it had about 400hp, and it was a BLAST. Ever since then i wanted to build my own 300zx.

I'm getting the car soon, but i want to know what upgrades i need, what i am already thinking about, and if im missing something. I would really like a lot of tips and suggestions. I have never worked on cars, other than installing a radio (which was e-z), but i think im learning fast enough to be able to do stuff myself. My goal is as close to 400WHP as possible, but not tooo much over. It will be driven sometimes on weekends, when it is driven i will mostly likely be messing around with friends on the roads, maybe a little drifting every now and then.

Here is the list of upgrades that i think i'll need:
Z1 high flow intake (single)
TT Spark Plugs (6) NGK PFR6B-11BPFR6B-11B
full exhaust system from the turbos back
(3in. down pipes, test pipes, and a catback)
Z1 SMIC (with bigger pipes)
Greddy Profec B SPEC2 Boost Controller
Nismo 740cc Injectors & Early Style Fuel Rail Adapters
Nissan 300zx Walbro 255 LPH Fuel Pump
Z1 ecu/EPROM upgrade
GT525 Turbo Kit/2 t28 <-(was wondering whether i actually need this or not)
Z1 300ZX TT Lightweight Flywheel
Z1 TT Street Clutch Kit (with 6 puck cermaic<-[is this an upgrade?])
Z32 Performance Brake Package
IS THERE ANYTHING I MIGHT BE MISSING???

My friend said i also need a MAS and a MAF, do i really need them? I am also thinking about BOV's, and do i need them? Some 1 told me i need a wastegate, and i couldnt find any answers online as to what it is and what it does and do i really need it? Please tell me if there are other "cheaper yet still reliable/safe" options, because it seems that all this is going to add up to over 10k and i dont think i have that much money.

Thank you for reading this and for any help offered.

Not to burst your bubble but if you have never worked on a car before that is a bad place to start. These cars need a decent amount of knowledge and patience. Reason being the way the motor sits in the car it is near impossible to work on unless you drop the motor. Just a heads up they are a pita to work on and this is from experience.

Also they are pretty expensive to build and maintain considering two turbos and two of everything also noting that previous owners beat on them and they are pretty old now too.

But do your research first and happy building.
