How about the teaching grants that were converted to high interest Loans because the administration appointed an incompetent person to run the Education Department. There actions effected veterans and their dependents who are teachers! NPR's reports pressed Bessie DeVos the Education Secretary and the President for an answer ,they were given lip service. Everything you said is 100% correct. I sold my AR-10 on this platform 4 months ago or so, but I couldn't update my trader rating. My credit took a large hit due to my wife's cancer and not being able to work. I retire next year and I've started gathering my VA disability claim and working with a counselor. My rating will be at least 70%. This will cut my taxes in half and allow me to apply for land grants. Texas Veteran Land Board (VLB) will be my underwriter with an interest rate of 4.5-6.5. The hardest thing is finding land with a creek and good well water. I'm watching 3 properties which are 15 acres or more. They have no deed restriction and can double as a hunting lease for extra revenue!
