To the OP An embarrassment? LOL why because I break it down honestly. Your reaction proves you are out looking for strokes here. Now grow up and admit it. You can't even take compliments without backhanding the the people complimenting you. I am done here and I think this thread has run its course.

drift freaq is SERIOUSLY sipping on that hatorade....but whenever you got haters, you must be doing something right. its not like you're building your car for all the guys on zilvia, its YOUR car. shit is dope, who cares what motor "makes more power", "higher revving", yada yada yada...anythings possible as long as you got the pockets for it. and to try to call you a honda fanboy who gets involved with a nissan???? that shit makes no sense, its like a stereotype that you (drift freaq) ASSUME cas you see everyone else on zilvia. basically I support it and solely because its different and youre doing it cas you love to fabricate shit. most of us cant even do that even if we wanted, no space, money or resources for that. props to you.....and just for a side note, ive owned a S2000, along with 3 other S14s over the last 3 years, both dope cars and nothing wrong with mixing it up how YOU want to.

Nice build, but i'm the type that wouldnt swap an old motor into a new car, thats just me. I wouldve just built the stock motor and beside honda's have the best flowing heads.

The s2k motor had the best flowing head for any production 4 cylinder ever made, when it was released. It made 250 whp out of 2.0 liters. It has 6 gears versus 5 (not counting s15 sr20det). I love my sr20det, but get real. This is just backwards.

Interesting swap. I think the F20 is a beast of an engine already, but to each his own.
The S2000 is a fantastic car. If you knock it, you really need to try it. I intend to pick one up at some point. I think maybe at least part of the problem with people intending to drift the S2000 is the fact that the car has Electronic Power Assist which is present under ~30mph, but is completely unassisted above, like the 95+ NSXs. That weird changeover probably throws people off. Good luck with your build.

Retarded people call them haters. The rest of the world call them critics. Deal with it, if you post something, you're gonna get critiqued. You aren't going to have a forum give you waves of support no matter what you post. Whether you expect it or not, you're gonna get a wave of something we call opinions.
Now do not fear, these opinions are things that people give. The internet is a fantastic medium to allow for the more open interactions on a larger scale. "Haters be hatin'" Deal with it.

correction, 240hp was the crank rating along with 250hp in the Jspec S2k, it never made 250whp from the factory, more like 195-205 whp from the factory.

Am I the only one who actually likes this?
I mean, the F20, although a good motor, is not torque monster. The SR beats it at that. I like this. Keep up the work. Looks awesome with the v-mount set up. With regards to the RSR S2000, I do believe they swapped in an FD3S rack and pinion in it in order for it to drift better. Much better steering from what I read on it's feature a few years ago. Swap that in along with the SR power and I think you'll have a sweet car. Fun as hell too. |
