Started when none of my beams worked. Ended up cleaning the combo switch and they came to life..but with issues(yay 240s hah). The lights flicker intermittently while I drive and they turn off for a quick second sometimes when I apply the brakes. My radio will turn off and back on sometimes too. Then my battery died, had it tested, bad battery. Replaced that. The next morning dead battery again, tested my alternator, alright bad alternator so I replaced that. Still having the same issues with the lights only this time now my driver side will flicker and sometimes turn completely off. Usually turning off my lights and turning them on again will bring it back. All I can think of to do is maybe replace the hid kit or I messed up something while I cleaned the combo switch so I thought about replacing that first. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk |

Eventually I got tired of that ish and was an early adopter of LED headlights and I never ever had an issue with those. Later on I got them for my DRLs as well and loved it. If it turns out that my HID bulbs or ballasts are dead I'll just go LED again. Although I just picked up this S13 vert two weeks ago and it has JDM S14 kouki front end and pretty much have to still investigate what bulbs they used in Japanland for that model. I think it may be H1 lows and H3C bulb for highs but still not 100% sure |
