S13 SR20DET Head Specifications
I purchased a Mazworx block recently and had head work done while waiting on the block to arrive. When installing the cams, the head seems to be warped internally somehow...
The company says they can fix the head by heating it up to a high temp for something like 15 hours, but even if they can reshape it, I am worried about getting it planed and causing timing issues. Does anyone know what the specifications for the S13 SR20DET Redtop Head are? TIA! |

Why not just get another head. A bare head should be under $200
Also, be more specific about what makes you think it's "warped". Why were you installing cams without the head on the block?

And were you following the FSM procedure to install the cams...they don't always sit 'right' until you properly torque them.
