^^^ what do you mean by s13s are limited by how low you can go?
is this due to the ridge up top on the wheel well?

S13s can fit less wheel/tire up front then S14s in both height, width, and offset, they are just smaller cars.

If you look through the 180sx Thread most of the guys in there are running 215/40s rather then 45s because of the rubbing issues with the taller tire.

I typically would pick a 215/45/17 for up font for 9" wheel, but I have a S14 and apparently there is a pretty big difference.

If you want to run loads of camber, super stretched tires, and a decent pull all around then yes.

Flush fitment with reasonable tire stretch on stock rolled fenders is 17X9 +12 all around with 215/40 and 215/45s. That still requires like -2.5->-3 camber out back.

Hey, is anyone running 9.5" wide -3 mm. (or neg. offset that similar to it) up front on an S13 stock fenders? I'm eying on a set of 18x9.5 -3 all around with mid disk. Just wanna make sure the front will clear my coils. I know I need aggressive camber and to pull the front fenders and rear quarters but by how much??

Any fine example or pointing to the right direction is greatly appreciated. My car is stock body and I wanna keep it that way.

Newb here, but i am wanting to run 17x9 all around with a 245/40/17 tire. Would this setup work with a +25 offset? Will be dropped on a shock spring combo oh koni/h&r

Big, probably a bowed out 50mm.

That will be fine for a shock/spring set up. You'll be rolling your fenders all around, but other then that your clearance should be fine.

Do you need to pull your rear quarters to fit 18x9.5 +10 w/ 245/40/18 on a S14?

Here is probably an easy question for you. I'm on GC coils (iirc) and would like to put either 17 or 18 x 9.5 on the car all the way around. Would a +15 be safe, running 245's? would about a +30?

-2* front
-1* rear
Fenders are rolled, but not stretched.

This car is not going to be slammed at all, but I'd rather it not look like a 4x4.

^I have 17x9 + 12 on maxed coils and my camber on the fronts is maxed so it doesn't poke I'd imagine if youre not low 17x9.5 + 15 would have considerable poke and look silly, there's a kid on here that has the same exact set uP on his black 240 search I think his build threa is "from rust to riches"

Those will fit no problem, you'll probably want a 10 or 15mm spacer up front with 215/45s and 235/40s out back.

I read the whole thread and got some good info. Great job guys. I need some help on my possible tire specs. Setup: S13 stock body, stance gr+pros, 17x9.5 (12) and 18x10.5 (15)
I'm thinking of running (F)225/40 and (R)235/40. Most likely 215/40 Feds up front because I guess 225/40 isn't too common. I will be rolling/pulling and camber of course. I want least stretch possible so what tire sizes would be decent? Any advice?

Send a message via AIM to fliprayzin240sx
Go 215/45-17s, more common sizing and will be about the same overall diameter as 235/40-17s.

Question. Recently got 17x8.5 wheels with a +4 offset on 225/45/17 tires for my S13. Will they fit with a minor fender roll and a little camber adjustment? I'm a newb to wheel fitment.

Thanks flip. Wouldnt 215/45 up front look pretty stretched? I think i want to get star specs for fronts, 225/40 should be ok right? Im going pretty low to have things sit flush....

How about my rear tires? 235/40 seems ideal from what I seen people running similar sizing. Any ideas? I need some assurance before I buy tires.

Well 225/40/17s are very limited in availability. I had a pair of the Nittos that are made in that size. I had them mounted on 17X9s and I also had some 215/45/17 Federals. They were almost the exact same size. The 215/45s were a hair taller and a hair narrower, but they will fit on your 9.5s like the 235s will fit on your 10.5s....they are also almost the same height as 235/40s so it will flow properly.

Worry about it rubbin on your coils? If you plan to go real low get + 15, worst case scenario you get + 30 and need a spacer, if I were you just hammer it flat get ruca and lower it till it looks right

nah, as I said I would love to run 245's or so all the way around. I'm not going to be slammed, but I want to make sure they will actually fit. I mean +15 should fit in the rear no problems, but I think the front will be an issue. Again, I'm not worried about looks, or any of that.
