Aem tru boost problems

alright i just got my aem tru boost installed. i got it used from a fellow zilvian and its perfect! i tapped off the orange and grey wires, cause im not worried on scramble boost or alarm cause i pay close attention all the time! im not sure if the previous settings are set from before but i have both A and B cycle at 10 which is the lowest and i cleared the hi boost to .00 my problem is when i push it, it boost all the way up to 16lbs... i tried to follow the instructions but it doesnt let me pass the unit program. i cleared everything but still boost at 16. all i want for now is 8 pounds but im not sure how to set it to that. help please!

You cant go lower than what the turbo actuator does when the boost controler is off. Maybe thats related.

I haven't messed with mine that much, but I'll try to help.

Did the previous owner run an external waste gate? If so, have you gone in and cleared the info he would've entered for the wastegate spring pressure, etc. . . ?
