Custom KA exhaust

I cut my ka header in half cus i thought i was gonna turbo it lol.
And i cut the exhaust in half to swap my subframe.
I dont want a straight pipe. I don't want a fart can. It can't be too loud. Id like to use it when my sr is finished. And most importantly it cant sound like a raspy fart. With a litany like this i come to you the people of zilvia to help me. I am left with one option, custom!
I need help with diameter,material,mufflers, resonators,cat, the whole 9.
No raspy farts.
Any help appreciated! Thanks

Buy an exhaust with a resonator that isn't a canister style.

I'm not sure why you cut the header in half for a turbo but this should be composed for NA
Header
Downpipe
Or
Full Header

Then add
2.5" Test Pipe with Res
HKS SPORT Catback

I used a 2.5-3in expansion cone off my header and then ran 3in all the way back to a Vibrant streetpower muffler. Low key, deep, and not too loud. 10/10 would do again.

What does thickness of pipe have to do with an exhaust if not full out race Al system??

Did you mean exhaust ID??

Yes i mean exhaust id^

I had a 2in or 2.5in straight pipe on my ka before this and it sounded god awful.
Then i had a muffler put on at the end and it was even worse just not trying to repeat that fuckery.

The bigger the piping the louder...

It's been proven that NA KAs prefer 3" piping, however 2.5 " makes no noticable difference and will be a bit quieter.

X2 on the Isis mbse exhaust, was deep and low key. A little shiny tho, but never got pulled over or hassled with it.

3" on a KA is a terrible idea for what is essentially a stock car. All that noise (5-10 DB or more) for about .3 HP

OP, 2.5" piping, a big muffler and resonator and profit. Not sure why we have to spoon feed you this information. Please go do your own searching if you do not agree with my above recommendation......

I have an Apexi N1 on my DE and I don't think it's too loud, sounds better than any Ka I've heard to be honest, but not too many people run quality mufflers anymore.

Probaly what im going to go with along with 3in stainless and some mandrel bends. Not trying to redo this again when the sr is finished so id rather just go 3in off the bat.

I have long tube header going to a pepboys cat back that includes a muffler (not running a cat, instead fit a test pipe), and it isn't very loud but it is raspy. I'm going to try and put a resonator on a straight section of the pipe and expect that will help.
