s30 2jzgte swap.

to begin this is an advice thread. i am in the process of building a 2j and have second thought of the car im choosing to swap it in which is a s14. i became interested in the z chasis for the swap but have little to no info on how to go about it . i see that tech 2 sells a kit but i would like to know more on what i would need and maybe some comments from people that have tackled this .

If your still interested... no experience with the 2j but there are a few companies that make full bolt on swap kits for the s30 2j swap like motor/trans mounts, intercooler kits etc. cxracing off the top of my head is one. If the 2j is anything like the rb26 to swap into a s30 be prepared to have 5-10K readily available as for mods, oe parts etc.. especially if you are building the block bottom up. Rb parts are ok $ wise if you don't go crazy on the mods and brand names. 2j i have heard the transmissions are fairly pricy so can only imagine everything else is..
