What would guys recommend for tire size. S14, 18x9.5 +20 all the way around. I'm ok with staggered tire fitment. My initial thoughts are 245/40/18 Fronts and 265/35/18 Rears. Would that work or do I need to rethink my tire selection?

Thanks!

Nitto reccomends a 275/35/18 for a 18x9.5 in their nt01.
That should fit both the front and rear with a little r&p. No need to stagger if you've already got 4 of the same wheels.

I wouldn't stagger, what power are you making?

255mm to inches is 10.03
265mm to inches is 10.43
275mm to inches is 10.82

a 9.5 inch wheel from lip to lip is about 10.5 inches

depending on what you want to run out of those.. I'd probably go with 265 being it's the closest.

you can do the math

covert the tire width from mm to inches

than know your wheel is one inch wider than it's spec'd ( from lip to lip )

pick the one that fits best

I should be making about 230 ish to the wheels once I get the car back. I'm leaning toward the 255/35/18 all the way around. According the the tire calculator provided a few pages back it would be the closest in aspect to the 16" OE rubber I am currently running.

It really depends on your alignment settings. That's a really vague question. Are you going to be driving hard on the street w/ aggressive alignment settings, then I would say they would last about a summer.

Look at different tire treadwear ratings. Generally a sticky street tire ranges from 140-220 utqg. So the higher the number the longer it will last.

ok so i wanna run 17X9 and 17X10's on my s13 with 255's and 275's without pullling the front fenders. so if i go with a 17X9 with a 255 in the front what is the HIGHEST offset i can run before hitting the coils? (stange GR+ Pro). i wanna run 5zigen fn's but there 5 lug 17X9's only come in +15 and + 35 sooo i think i might get the +35 and put a spacer on it so i dont have to pull the fronts. and i dont wanna run alot of camber. thankyou

Do some research in this thread. There is a very useful link right above your post that will help a lot. Sic posted the max front and rear offset you can run. If you put all the numbers together with the link above you will find exactly what you are looking for.

After doing some research it looks like you will want 17x9 +15 and 17x10+35. Based on the information available in this thread those sizes seem about perfect but I would recommend you look into it yourself as well.

i need help from you guys... to keep it simple...

18x8 +30 (weak offsetttt), im thinking of going with maybe a 245 or a bit more in the back... you guys think a 10-15mm spacer mike fix the fitment on that bad offset?

it's a s13 fastback and i want NO PULL... already have a roll and thats what i want for the moment... the only other size they come in is 17x9.5 +15 great fitment but not much space for rubber without a pull...

Quick questions...
I am finally going 5-Lug, and have decided to get some MB Weapons 17x9 +27 all around
How would 235's fit up front on rolled flat fenders with no pull?
Also how would 255's fit in the rear, with a slight pull?
Car is somewhat slammed
Any help is appreciated

Rear should be no problem, the front will probably crash in to the coilover with that offset.

I cant tell you for 100 percent on an s13 but the 9.5 would be a much better choice imo, tires are easy to change out if you decide you want to pull later that rims are.

I have some new wheels the fronts are 17x9 +12 and the rears are 17x9.5 +12. I already have coilovers, and the car is not slammed to the ground, but it is lower than stock height. I want to know what width tires to put on the front and back, I prefer to have the back tires wider than the front tires. But I have not rolled my fenders, and I am not sure I am going to any time soon. Please help PM me

17x9 = 255/40/17 you will probably need wider fenders although racepar1 pulled it off on 17x9+12 so maybe just a serious pull on front fenders.

Rear, 17x9.5+12, definetely will have to roll/pull arches... but you will be able to fit a nice 275/40/17 rear on that tire.

WOuld I have a hard time fitting it in the front?(stock s14 fenders) Or should I use bmw spec sizes like 245/40-f and 275/35-r to help with fender clearance? Im trying to keep the car as stock looking and flush as possible. Help me out here guys Im ready to order tires asap!
