s13 s13 coupe window moldings help..

I got a 91 s13 last weekend and wanna start restoring her to new again.. One thing that bugs me is the quarter panel window moldings.. do they make replacement molding for these or would i have to completely replace the windows on both side (granted the new windows come with the molding attached) and where would i find either or?

Heres a pics of my new baby so excited cause i finally found a 240 with nice body and completely untouched virgin

FOR SALE 1991 Nissan 240sx Coupe- VIRGIN

Got her for 2500 also friends with the 240 shop really helps hehe

Replace the window. The molding is chemically bonded to the glass before it ever reaches Nissan. You may find a company willing to make a similar piece but it will be expensive and you will have to bond it to the glass for it to stay. Sucks cause I already went through this and gave up. I went lexan.

its a type of hard plastic similar, but not the same as plexiglass.

you get it in clear color and then rivet or glue it on. it shouldn't be used on a daily since it scratches easily, but on a race car it will provide weight savings.

180sx windows will not fit coupe. they are the 240sx fastback equivalent.

Nismo shop sells them for 145 each. Unless you know some one that works at nissan with a discount better check junkyards. My car needs these also.

lemme know what you find out on prices and replacements. the back window of my coupe the metal trim mold piece on the lower left and right hand side is popping up and breaking.

and front windshield is having some trim coming up as well. but i know thats easy to change at auto glass place.
