s13 how to do a burnout in s13?

how how guys im a newbie and i was just wondering how i tried putting it in 1st gear holding the clutch and gas it.. is that wrong?

1. Press in the clutch pedal.
2. Floor the gas pedal.
3. Release the clutch pedal.
4. Break something.
5. Wonder why you decided to to this.

But really, once your tires are spinning, use your left foot to lightly press on the brake pedal to keep the car from rolling forward.

If you've got a KA and decent street tires, you're likely to break something in drivetrain before breaking traction.

Why not just tie up to the jdm toe hook that's probably in back of the car. Then step on it.
