What is the largest tire you can fit in the fender wells of a 1996 240?  I was thinking probably 275's would fit but i'm not sure (the rear of course).

you're gonna need new wheels of course. I've heard up to 11" wide in the rears, that's about 275. I think it will look good, but the added weight and drag of the bigger tires would decrease performance.

I am selling my 18x8 235/40/18 wheels and putting on some 17x8 front (235/45/17) and 17x9 rear (255/40/17). 18&quot; is to big for my what I want to do with the car. Im sure anything bigger than a 9&quot; wheel and you might run into problems like your springs getting in the way. If you have lots of money then you can get Coilovers so you can add a wider wheel. I couldnt see an advantage of going with a wheel wider than 10&quot;. 9&quot; is big enough for the any amount of HP the 240SX can spit out. I will post pics of what my wheels look like when they come in from japan <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

$1500. They aren't cheap wheel by any means. I may take $1400 without the tires. I would rather sell them without tires anyways so shipping isnt another $1500 :\

Your wheels are worth every bit of that price, too, Mark. &nbsp;####, if I could afford your tires/wheels, I'd meet ya halfway and pick them up from ya! &nbsp;Would you take monthly payments? hehe j/k

check out a company called dronell. &nbsp;I just got 17 inch wheels (dronell d-power ds-05) that weigh 18lbs with 205-40-17 yokohamas, and they were only 1800 cdn (about 1150 US, i think). &nbsp;18s wouldve been nice, but too expensive
