NC, SC, VA, TN!..240sx Meeting In NC November 23rd

Hey all,
We are planning a 240sx owners meeting here in Greenville NC. The reason I am choosing here is because we have a shop to hang out at, a large parking lot that can handle a large group, and a place to eat in the same strip center. The shop name is JK Motorsports. It s a very 240sx freindly store; the owner, the owners son, the son's girlfriend, and I own a 240. Tentative date is November 23rd..at aorund 1: 00 in the afternoon. If you want I can try to get the Nissan Dealership to bring a 350 over for us to look at and stuff. We have needed a good meet here in NC for a while so I decided to plan one. Oh yeah one more thing..NO COPS TO RUN US OFF..provided we behave and not race up and down the road. Oh yeah we will be raffling off a B&M Shifter (a 250 dollar value) I will be posting this to every 240 forum and mailing list I can find..and as more details come up I will post them here. I went a long time ago to a meet there. Was a lot of fun. First time I ever saw an SR close up (Greasers), saw a drift AE86. Good stuff.

I'll try and make it up there also.

Sweet!..please come if you can..this brings the total up to about 20 or so, bring your friends!..lol anyway keep checking the FA forum link..i updated it today and will be updating it regularly on stuff for the meet..like directions and possibly hotel accomodations.

depends do you do the speed limit? &nbsp;about 3 hours. &nbsp;I made it in 21/2 once. &nbsp;I can make burlington to Gvegas in about 2h 15min. &nbsp;not a bad lil drive. &nbsp;and 264 is fun <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> &nbsp;long pretty straight and open. &nbsp;damn the speed limiter on my ecu damn it! &nbsp;lol

Just wanted to let you know that they are also having a meet in Melbourne, Fla. on the same date! Sucks that they are not different days! I know that some of the Atlanta 240 guys are planning on going to Fla.! This is the first I have heard of this meet!

talked to Phil earlier tonight the waffle house at exit 143 in burlington say around 930ish? &nbsp;and then we can meet Kyle and other Raliegh folks somewhere and convoy on from there? &nbsp; give those with hotel reservations time to check in before meeting up at JK/ &nbsp;Kyle where do you suggest we meet in Raleigh? &nbsp;we could do ESA of off wade ave. and then take the belt up to 264/64?

Hey Kyle..
Thanks for jumping in man..lol I need the help getting some people to come. I talked to greaser to see if he would come but he's going the meet down in Florida..I mistakenly planned this meet the same weekend as the florida meet so he and his group won't be coming, but I think Jeff from Epik Motorsports is comin up from Myrtle Beach and is bring a good group with him. plus some guys should be coming from Charlotte as well. And of course there are at least 5 here in Greenville. Plus I am going ahead and planning for us to eat some good ole family style east NC barbeque at Parkers if thats cool with everyone(its cheap and the shop owner is a friend of the owner of Parkers)

I want to thank eveyone in advance whos coming..this is my first time planning a meet..its coming together quite nicely <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

Eating at PARKERS!!!!! &nbsp; Hells Yeah! &nbsp;I use to date a girl from Tarboro and when we would go to greenville we would usually go to parkers. IIRC they also have the vinegar based slaw....oh yeah. Tell all to be prepared to get stuffed!!

If anybody has some old (OEM) spark plug wires they wanna get rid of, i could greatly use them!!!! I at least need the #4 wire off of a DOHC engine.
