240 overheating

90 SOHC with 130K. the car has never overheated before, temperature has always been mid range between C and H, all of a sudden it jumped to H, and antifreeze started bubbling within the reservoir and overflowing out the top.

Are these the symptoms of a bad thermostat/ radiator/ hose? Hose clamps are tight and there is pressure to both top and bottom hose. The radiator looks clean, no holes, or green sh1t.

Water pump most likely, sounds like the same problem I had when my water pump went.

Could be just a thermostat, they're pretty cheap from napa, like $10 maybe.
