Stock S13 Driveshaft hitting Progress 22mm Rear Sway Bar

I believe that the driveshaft is hitting the rear Progress sway bar (the part where it curves up) when I hit a dip or any minor bumps. Has anyone had or heard of this issue before?

These are not my photos, they are from an install thread I found on another forum.

Are you sure your drive shaft is hitting the bar? If anything it would be the differential nose that hit the bar before the actual drive shaft did.

Anyway, I'd believe it would be your exhaust hitting the bar. Check the exhaust hanger rubber bushings, replace for $3/each at your local auto parts store.

It just doesn't seem possible for the differential to hit the bar itself, unless something wasn't bolted down properly on the differential or the sway bar, OR, the bushings are totally trashed.

That or you somehow managed to get your sway bar installed backward. Which I also don't think is possible if my memory serves me correct. Then it would be the exhaust tapping the sway bar. If it wouldn't already be resting on it.

@anti tyler - yeah you're right. its not hitting the driveshaft. i meant the differential nose. i'm going to take a closer look at everything tomorrow and confirm which part its hitting.

i'll come back with more details and photos tomorrow
