give me your ideas!!! My knuckle are limited now by the outter tie rod hitting the lca... how are you going to limit the knuckle now since when you mod the knuckle you had to cut off that bump stop titty.

just gotta be creative with it. We need to set the car on the ground and figure out where we will put the angle stop at.
Stephen, The custom tie rod ends are ordered an will be ready for pick up tomorrow from the machine shop. Did you notice matt powers LCA's? Not that it really matters cause he drives the shit out of that car the way it is, but look how they kick up.

You can see here how the control arms are notched:
And how with PSM kuckles it's the knuckle mod that hits the LCA, not the tie rod (it's the same with the factory arm): Hope that helps.

Thanks dude. I am thinking we're going to have to rework the cut out because the angle of the LCA is going to be so different....so that picture is good inspiration.

it looks like we will have to mod the lca knotch one more time. The PBM desing is a real good desing. I honestly havent looked at any other desings but mine. All i have to do is move my idea about 3/4" for it to work with the tierod end. The other problem we have is that the ball joint geometry correction has left a bigger gap between the LCA and knuckle. Ill figure it tomorrow.

They aren't shortened, we just made the outer tie rod part nice and long so we could have lots of adjustability. I am not 100% sure for my set up, but on his S13 nothing was shortened, and nothing was shortened on another S13 that ran a similar set up.

Today was the day the s14 ls1 was goin to be on the ground no matter what. Even thought we are having one hell of a winter snow storm that wasnt going to stop me. I fired up the garage heaters and went to work. I got all four corners installed today and tried to set ride height. The rear will go super low and still have enought adjustment for the lower control arms to be parallel with the ground. The front still needs a smaller spring to get the stance we want. Everything is going on smooth with only a few spots that had to get grinded down.
What it looks like outside? Full shots back on the ground. Front ride height is not set, but you can tell how much more the new tub modifications will allow this car to go. This is going to be one bad bitch. on the back ground you can see razmus car which is also getting to Re_specGarage love. We are putting a jungle gym inside his car.....lol Insert LSJUAN!!! Lower control arm mods to hopefully fix the suspension geometry. Im not an engineer, but it looks like its going to work. It uses a momo ball housing welded to the oem LCA's. We also inserted a spherical bearing to work with a GM ball joint stud. Lots off reasearch went into this to make it work. Lower control arm angle at this ride height. The new ball joint set up will allow us to adjust the level of the LCA when we decided what the final ride height will be. I know the tire is on the wrong side.... For you west coast hellaflush cats. The east coast knows a little bit about fitment. The rear still needs to be adjusted at the ball joint. As you can see on a lowered 240 the lca is pointing up. With the GM ball joint and some spacers we will solve that problem. Now you will be able to ride super low and have your LCA in stock location. The rear got some love from Fortune auto s14 coilovers with z32 mounts to fit the z32 rear spindles. If you want great service hit them up. Also a set of spl rear upper camber arms, PBM solid spacers and ofcourse all my attention to detail and mods. Last picture will be the super angle this car will be getting. I need to run down to lowes tomorrow to see if I can find a bolt and a few spacers to make the tierods work.

So you inserted a spherical bearing into the knuckle itself?
That setup looks sick. You have a PM.

The spherical bearings are in the LCAs on the front and rear. They have another 1/2 or more of space to space it out.
The rear doesn't really need to be completely flat, the fronts are the important part.

Ah, I see.
Have you considered changing the angle of the rear lower control arm to get more squat/raise the roll center?

You can actually see how much the rear has been corrected since the Toe arm and the LCA are usually parallel with each other. So once I get the LCA where it needs to be I will see if my friend who TIGs extremely well can cut and reweld my toe arm mounting point to make it parallel with the LCA again and fix some/most of the toe curve problems out back. A S15 time attack car has done this, so that's where I got the idea:

Now that's something I've never known about! Thanks for the info.
Normal I don't like it when anyone puts a LS1 into an S-chassis, but you're doing such a good job with the whole project, I can't help but love this thread! And I was talking about the angle of the arm front to back, which adjusts squat, but S14's don't have nearly the trouble that S13's do.

We mocked up razmus URAS side skirt to see how low the car is sitting. Well right now we are about 1.5-2 of the ground. The scary part is that the front can go about another 4in before the subframe is on the floor.
its a little smokey from razmus welding in his cage.
