Oh yeah, anyone going to the 240sx national convention???
I'm down to go.  Those of us who are going should get together and register if you guys haven't already.  Maybe this could turn out to where Nissan decides to import the S15 out here if they see enough of us enthusiasts.  Holla!

The "club" idea was made so 240SX enthusiasts in the SF Bay Area can organize local meets more easily and share info they have, like good deals on parts, or good autoshops, and help each other out. (For example, yesterday Ben just helped me change the fluids for the engine, transmission, and LSD on my car. Thanks man. =] )

Mike and I decided on the name Ni-2 (which is just short for Nissan 240SX) and had our first official meet on May 5. We had three S14s and two S13s. We went driving on Mount Hamilton and unfortunately one of the S13s crashed, but it was a really fun/eventful night. Since then we've hung out together a number of times and kept in touch online.

Our only problem seems to be the name Ni-2, which seems to make people think we're a street racing crew. We went with that name because it's easy to remember, it made sense, and it's short (as opposed to something like Nissan 240SX Club of the San Francisco Bay Area). So right now we're called Ni-2, but we're open to suggestions for better names.

Right now we don't have a mailing list or anything but once the group is big enough, maybe someone can set one up. We also plan on eventually having a web site profiling some members' cars, like what they did in the SoCal240SX web site. Anyway, that's all. The club is basically to help us get together more easily and stuff. So far with the few people we have it's been working out pretty well.

Well I'm down to go to the Nissan Convention in So Cal in July. So definately count me in. As for Ni-2 sign me up, always down for a good ride, race, sharing knowledge and hook ups. When you guys get ready to do your sr20 swaps let me know, maybe able to help a little bit. Well ttyl

Feel free to make suggestions for the next meet. 12:00 noon seemed a bit early for some people, so maybe we should try 1:00 PM for the next meet. Or it doesn't even have to be during daytime.

yo i was just joking about rivaling the sf club(aka ni-2). That is cool that you can like help each other out with like changing fluids and stuff. I remember you. &nbsp;I thought you got rid of your S14, 'coz I don't see you or any other's posting at the egroups.yahoo.com NorCal mailing list. &nbsp;How's your GReddy Headers? &nbsp;Mine cracked 3/4ths around the pipe where all 4 small pipes are welded. &nbsp;So I placed my stock back. &nbsp;My car's doing better this time. &nbsp;Last month I pulled a 16.0 with stock headers, intake, and exhaust. &nbsp;My personal best. &nbsp;I know it's not much compared to the rest of y'alls. &nbsp; &nbsp;
I guess I should just move there. &nbsp;Hahahahaha. &nbsp;The 240sx in the bay area is growing very fast! &nbsp;It was only 2 years ago when we had our First NorCal Meet, and there were 12 cars, now there's what, 20-30? Catching up with SoCal? &nbsp;Maybe next year we could have NorCal/SoCal show off. &nbsp;Hahahahaha. &nbsp;Do you know if Jason(animerules) still has his S13? &nbsp;I don't hear from some of the peeps from our meet. &nbsp;I know Justin is still active with the SoCal/240sx-amarok list.

Yea its growing i see lots of kids(damn im old) goin for 240sx then honduhs. Are u goin to the convention? If so i'll see u there. its long of a drive to just come to the meets down here for u, so yea u should move down here hahaha.

Koto I"m the one w/ the red s14 w/ the kit we met at Newpark. &nbsp;Tj I'm the one you emailed , we both have the same name. &nbsp;Jason hasn't been doing a whole lot lately. &nbsp;I talk to him every now and then but he doesn't really seem to get involved in stuff anyone, not sure why, well could be because of a few things but who knows. &nbsp;
