Need to buy a S13 carbon fiber hood asap.  Not 89-93 240SX hood, but a S13 (Japanese S13) carbon fiber hood.

danke

btw, I wish people would stop calling 89-93 240SX Coupes "S13's" because they are not.

hey whacked..........please explain to me why our 89-93 240's are not S13's, and also please tell me why you have an S13, because i know that's what you really want to do

i could very well be wrong, i don't know everything about "JDM" nor do i care.......but isn't S13 a chassis code? and once again i could be wrong, but i don't think the conversion you've done has changed the actual structure of the car, so you're still a POS S13 like the rest of us, now if you want to call yourself a silvia that's a different story, and if you do i hope you have the correct drivetrain conversion to go along with you're "S13" swap

Wow...

Where is my $20?  I "sold" you that silvia emblem and you never sent the money, what's the deal?

I usually refer to the usdm 89-93 240SX's "onevia's" sense they have a 180SX front and a Silvia rear.

So uhm, back to subject, anyone know where I can get a S13 hood?

hey whacked.....the 89-94 240sx is referred to as the S13.  believe me.  i'm in okinawa where silvias and 180s run rampant.  i even have a 90 fastback in the states that's going to get lit up when i get back.  S14s are 95-98.  but you can get a carbon fiber hood from:
www.pdm-racing.com (the one for POP-UP lights) for $350.  it weighs 19 lbs compared to the oem's 39 lbs.  if that link doesn't work,  you can check the links link on the main of the zilvia.net site.
hope that helps.

I can get you a "Silvia" S13 hood if that is what you are looking for.  Either in Fiberglass or Carbon Fiber.  Just let me know.

So mike240 you're in Okinawa right now?  How's everything out in Aja?  Have they opened up the pier or are they still going around the "block" ?

Have fun trying to get it back.  My club has lots of guys in the military in Japan and Okinawa and the are having a hard time trying to get them back.

Everyone is giving them the run around.  Most of them gave up because it was too hard to bring back or the Military just said "NO".

I hope you know a loop hole.  Sorry if this comes across as bad news.  I just had to let you know.

Hey whacked,  the carbon fiber hood for the S13 Silvia is $450 plus shipping.  Sorry it took so long.  Sony is keeping me so busy here.  (14 hours so far today)
