Let's go, go, go!!  I was just thinking...since were gonna be in front of Nissan's head's, wouldn't this be a good opportunity for us to show them that we want the S15 out here???....Just random thoughts...aiitte, laters all.

yo mav me and a friend are gunna go to this thing. the only problem is that IM ONLY 17. will i need a guardian with me or something when im on the track??? will they even let me on the track? lol. i dont turn eighteen until september. the friend that is going with me, he is 20. im bringing down my 95 240sx..hehe i scored this car thru a series of 8 months of saving up. (not bad for a 17 year old huh?) anyway im just wondering how long do i have to sign up for the track i mean like how many spaces are there left and how long do you think it will take to fill up. i need some time to wear down my parents but im pretty sure i can break them. i can pay the deposit now if you tell me that there spaces left.
P.S &nbsp; could you help me find a few peeps that are coming down that live around me? i live in the sunset district of san francisco.

1) The other person from Oregon is Patrick Hall. &nbsp;He'll probably be trailering his car down, since it is now a race car... &nbsp;(If he sounds familiar, that's b/c he wrote the 300ZX brake install page on www.240sx.org)

2) If you are not 18 years old, you will need your parent's explicit consent that they will allow you to attend the event and allow you to attend the track event. &nbsp;For the convention itself, you must give me written consent from your parents in order for me to allow you to register. &nbsp;For the track event, you must have a parent or guardian on-site if you wish to run at the event, or you must have written consent from your parents/guardian to give an adult permission to be your "guardian" that weekend. &nbsp;Please note that this is not to restrict your freedom, but rather to watch out for potential hazards and to make sure that liability of the actions of attendees are kept to themselves. &nbsp;A legal issue, if you will.

Updates:

- Holiday Inn contacted us today and informed us that so far only 2 people have reserved a room with them under the "240SX Convention" name. &nbsp;I would just like to let everyone know that the deadline for reserving a room at Holiday Inn is July 8th. &nbsp;If you haven't reserved a room yet, do it ASAP. &nbsp;If you have, please email me in private and let me know which names you reserved under, so we can coordinate things.

- Some people have asked about how to reserve a room for the hotel at the track. &nbsp;The hotel at the track is the official hotel for any race event at Willow Springs International Raceway, and when you reserve a room you must state that you are attending a track event at Willow Springs. &nbsp;Mention SpeedTrialUSA and the date, but don't mention the 240SX Convention. &nbsp;If you call in and say "I want a room, and I am registering with the 240SX convention track event", they won't know what you are talking about. &nbsp;The rates listed for Willow Springs are rates for all attendees of track events at Willow Springs.

- There are less than 8 spots left for the track event. &nbsp;If you wish to run, please pay RIGHT NOW. &nbsp;Once the remaining spots are filled, there will be no more spots left. &nbsp;SpeedTrial has an extra run group open for Sunday, but it is only open to advanced group drivers.

If your guest wishes to attend the Speedzone event, they MUST pay in advance.

You can register a "package" for each of your friends/guests, but please specify their full name when you pay. &nbsp;Also note that they are a guest of yours. &nbsp;They do not need to fill out the registration form.

Hi guys, a bit over two weeks until convention.

A few things:

1) The last day we will take registration and payment is the 22nd of July. &nbsp;If you do not register or pay by that date, we will consider your registration invalid. &nbsp;The most important reason to register is so that we can account for your car in the parking lot. &nbsp;All attendees who register will have a parking spot, while those that just "show up" will get whatever (crappy) space that is left over.

2) If you are interested in attending the Speedzone event, you must register and pay me no later than next Friday (the 19th of July). &nbsp;If you have a guest who wants to attend the Speedzone event, please send payment and their information to me as soon as possible.

3) There have been difficulties for some of you trying to get a hotel room at the track. &nbsp;When you call the track hotel, tell them that you are attending a track event at Willow Springs the following day (the 28th) and if they ask if you are "participating/driving" on the track, say yes. &nbsp;If you don't, you won't get the rates that are offered to attendees of the track event.

4) In case any of you want to attend the track event, a few guys have cancelled on me at the last minute, so a few spots are open for the track event.

I asked Holiday Inn and they said their check in time is 3:00 PM. Can the caravan to Speedzone leave after that instead of at 3:00, so people can check in to their hotel rooms and drop off their stuff first?

Hi guys, less than 2 days until the BIGGEST 240SX event EVER!!! =)

Here are some last minute details:

- We have closed registration for the event. &nbsp;There are no more spaces
available for the track event. &nbsp;If you were interested in attending
individual events, pricing is as follows:

Friday Speedzone event: &nbsp;$40 to enter room and have dinner, and get in on
the game cards. &nbsp;Free to spectate/hang out as long as you are not inside the
conference room.

Saturday Nissan NA event: &nbsp;$30 registration at the door, but no reserved
parking space and no lanyard (we are out of them). &nbsp;Free to spectate or just
to hang out...

Sunday SpeedTrialUSA track event: &nbsp;$10 fee collected at the gate, passengers
ride for free in intermediate/advanced group cars ONLY. &nbsp;No passengers
allowed in beginner group driver cars unless you are an instructor.

- The skidpad will be blocked off for use on Sunday, but we can only allow
people that have signed up for the event to use the skidpad (you must
display a tech sticker at all times in order to use the skidpad).

- As of right now, we have about $8500 in product donations to raffle off.
A complete list of raffle products can be found at

available for sale on Saturday.

- For those of you interested in showing up on Saturday, the event
officially starts at 10AM and goes till about 4PM.

And for a bit of sad news...

Unfortunately the Signal Auto S15 will not be at the event... it will be in
Utah at the Bonneville Salt Flats doing some testing runs... however, their
180SX &nbsp;will be at the event, as well as many other rare show cars and
"celebrity" cars.

As of 10PM PDT tonight, we have 160 confirmed registered attendees... and
this doesn't include any of their guests, or enthusiasts from other
automotive groups!
