If anyone in the DMV area has a 5 speed KA or SR transmission that's having issues, blown, trashed, or just laying around and you're trying to get rid of it let me know and I'll buy it off you. Not trying to pay much for one. This is just gonna be for salvage parts and/or display purposes.

Nothing specific. Just trying to learn more about these things and practice tearing them down and putting them back together.

get trailer hitch wrench, big nuts reverse threads. don't mushroom anything when u smack it apart with a hammer. a lot of small stuff is interchangeable, bigger stuff isn't.

SR is one type of fsw71
KA sohc is another fs5w71 variant
and dohc kas are different also
(internally)

if u need any spare parts I have quite a few
