I am 27, wanted an s14 since I was 15 years old.... got a 84 crown vic at 16 instead, wrecked it within a week, got a 1990 dodge dynasty, wrecked that at 17. My gracious parents were still gonna buy me another car, a geo metro...... I said fuck that and bought a 95 240 for 2500 bucks with 118k miles on it!

Never did anything with it until now, I am just getting started on it nearly 10 years later.

My mom bought a hatch brand new in 92. Once I hit about 14 they said that would be my car if I wanted it or my grandmas FC rx-7 (non turbo). I chose the 240 because I thought it looked better and it wasn't from the 80's. I remember back then no one even knew wtf a 240sx was. I had people ask me if it was a supra lol. Shops only knew honda and eclipse shit. You had to know someone to get a sr20....or any decent parts for that matter. Drifting was pretty much unheard of back then, direct reflection of the crappy FWD import scene America was back then. I'm 27 now, have had 4 or 5 s13's over the years. I'v just been building and collecting parts since I was a teen. Buying advans, titanium exhaust, big brake kits, JUN parts etc as 19-21 year old. I remember I skipped my senior trip and used that money for coilovers lol. Slow progress when you have to save up for that shit on weak ass job status. But it all comes together once you age and land a real career. I'm glad I was disciplined enough to save and buy that stuff as a kid/young adult. Taught me money management skills. I plan on having this 240 for as long as I live. I learned how to drive in one and have had one my whole driving career. Well, one in the family since I was 7 if you look at it from the beginning. Had a lot of um.....sex.....on the trunk of my coupe to haha. Bend over that trunk!

16 got my s13 when i was 15 with rust and burning oil and all the junk fixed all the problems cut out the rust fiberglassed it inside and out cuz it was so bad. now i want to sell it ka24de are to slow and swaping a motor isnt in my mind. im aiming for a 1988 S13 Silvia with a ca18det

Owned my first 240sx when I was 18 (or was I 19?) Anywho, had shitty car accident and replaced it with a 87 Honda Accord DX sedan. Purchased a running, piece of shit condition 240sx as a project for 900 out the door (used car dealer). The Honda Accord started to give me problems one after another so I junked it and purchased a 96 Nissan 240sx. Daily drove that for about 2 years before deciding to get something with 4 doors. Purchased an 04 Subaru WRX Wagon from South Coast Subaru and sold the S14 a week later.

My second S13 is no longer in piece of shit condition and runs/drives amazing! Been enjoying the WRX since day one of owning it. I'll be turning 28 in 2012.

Been driving 240's since the early 2000's, finally got my first one 2 years ago for free! My buddy Schuyler has about 7 project 240's and didn't see the need to have another one so he hooked me up! Can't beat free, especially a complete car minus the crappy aftermarket sunroof. I'll be 28 in July and am happy to finally have my own 240!!!

Think we found the issue. All the youngins are going through 5-6 cars every 2 years. I've had 3 S13s, still own 2 of them, During 17 years.

This, im 30 and would never go through 5-6 cars from age 16-18. must be from buying all the busted drift missiles and trying to fix them, then selling it for another piece o crap lol. i stick with one good condition car and build it up over couple years. plus i have the income to do it now.

when i was 16-18 it was all cheap honda hatchbacks

Been in love with 240's since I was 16. Got my first Zenki when I was 17. Only paid $2400 for her . Drove the piss out of that car, and did all those stupid things young people do in it. Drove her in the back of a Dodge Ram and had to part her out.

I'm 24 now and on S14 number 3 and still love driving them every day. There (IMHO) just arent cars out there that connect to the driver as well as a 240 does. I hope to own an S14 for the rest of my life.

I'll be turning 28 in September. Bought my first car in 2004 which was a 1998 240sx. Owned it for 7 years until I got rear ended which totaled the vehicle. Could not get away from the 240 scene so I picked up another after 4 months of searching. I currently drive a 1997 240sx. Both cars purchased from the original owners

My first and only S14 240sx bought in 2002...still have the same chasis and I am 28 now. Car had 61k original miles and was completely mint and garage kept. Purchased the car from 2nd owner for $4500 with sound system, rims, and a kick ass alarm haha.

The car has gone thru 4 different setups and is currently in the 5th and final attempt. First SR20 swap was in the summer of 2002. Reason I chose to go with swap was because the KA really only had support and mods from Jim Wolf. Bought an entire front clip froma 180sx from Underground Racing who purchased it thru Venus Auto.Did the Sr swap then dropped in a "Disco Potato" turbo.....lmao I am dating myself.

Since I bought the 240sx I have owned a Nissan Sentra, VW Golf (modded), Audi A4, and a 2002 M3 (Modded heavily) all which were sold....the damn M3 made it to a Euro mag with the new owner doing some sick upgrades on the motor lol. Somehow I felt more at peace selling the M3 and not the 240sx.

My family always laughs because they call it a "stupid car" but I think I will end up hanging onto this one as long as I can. I even turned down buying a new M3 and S5 in order to keep the 240sx and work on it slowly.......CRAZY i know
